There will be a a special council meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7:00pm at the Village Hall to vote on A Resolution Accepting the Amounts & Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission & Authorizing the necessary Tax Levies & Certifying them to the County Auditor
The Economic Development Workshop will be held immediately after the special council meeting at approximately 7:10pm.
Dublin Police Department, with the approval of the Buckeye Valley School District and In coordination with the village of Ostrander, will be conducting training at the former Buckeye Valley West Elementary School between September 18 and October 2nd. Training will not be held every day, but on the days that it is held it will be between the hours of 11am-3pm with one exception for nighttime training held on either September 19 or 20 which will be conducted from 10pm-2am. Dublin police is cognizant of the neighborhood that surrounds the school and have expressed that they will try to be as least disruptive as possible. There will be representatives from Dublin police notifying residents by going door to door in the immediate area prior to training starting. Ostrander officers will likely also be participating in the training.
DELAWARE, Oh. – The Delaware General Health District’s Keep Delaware County Beautiful program is seeking volunteers to help pick trash out of the Scioto River on Sept. 7, 2019.
The Scioto River Sweep will take place on Saturday Sept. 7 from 9:00 am – 12:00pm where volunteers will meet up at 8:30am at the Bellpoint Community Church shelter on State Route 257. Volunteers will clean up riverbanks on foot and the river channel in canoes. Equipment will be provided along with transportation to and from launch and pickup sites and a free picnic lunch. Canoes will also be provided. Volunteers who own canoes are welcome to bring them.
All volunteers younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Support and assistance for the Scioto River Sweep is provided by Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, the Scioto River Valley Federation, Central Ohio Contractors, Preservation Parks of Delaware County and the DKMM Solid Waste District.

This is the first step into making sure we are planning for future growth so that the village grows in a way we want it to. A series of public meeting will also follow this workshop.
