With the help of our Village Engineer, ADR & Associates, Ostrander has received OPWC and CDBG funding to complete road improvements to Main Street, Houston Street, and 4th Street. The work will take place late summer of 2012 and will include:
- crack sealing on Main Street
- base repair and asphalt overlay on Houston Street
- base repair and asphalt overlay on 4th Street from High to Henry
The grants will also replace all road signs in the Village to meet new reflectivity standards. These improvements essentially complete the Village’s “Five Year Capital Improvement Plan”. This plan included all of the past roadway work in the Village in addition to this project with minimal cost to the Village. This is a great accomplishment for all of the residents.
